Dozens of drivers were stuck in gridlock at the Circle on Cavill carpark at Surfers Paradise overnight after the driver at the front of the queue wasn't allowed out until she paid up.
The driver holding up the queue claimed she paid $88 a month for her parking pass but it wasn't working."Hey, what's going on?" a driver caught in the traffic asked the woman, a video seen by 9News showed. "My pass isn't working and they're not actually letting me out of the actual thing cause they're saying I've got to pay $25 but I don't have the $25 on me," she replied."You've got 100 cars in the car park because one of your machines aren't working," she told the attendant."I'm sorry but if everybody else must pay for their car park so should you," the attendant said.
