The trio came under fire for halting House proceedings with a demonstration calling for stricter gun laws in the wake of the CNN’s “The Lead” When asked to respond to 60-year-old Johnson’s criticism that she was spared expulsion because she’s white while Jones, 27, and Pearson, 28, were punished, Richey shot back: “That’s political nonsense!”
