CIMB Group Holdings Bhd group CEO and executive director Tengku Zafrul Tengku Aziz has been appointed the finance minister by Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin today. His appointment as the finance minister in the newly set up cabinet was historic as the powerful cabinet post was normally reserved for a senior figure from the ruling political party.
