If President Trump follows through on his threat to close the U.S.-Mexico border this week, it will hit cross-border trade in the stomach, hammering tomato imports and U.S. pork exports, among other items. Here are the 10 largest imports and exports between the U.S. and Mexico.

In 2018, almost $235 billion in exports and imports crossed there, or 37% of the U.S. total with Mexico. When looking at U.S. trade by air, Mexico accounted for just 1.5% in 2018. By ocean, it accounted for 7%.
