Police in KwaZulu-Natal have arrested a gang of 10 suspects in connection with the hijacking of a truck belonging to a tobacco company.

“On Tuesday, two victims were driving their vehicle transporting tobacco between Dundee and Vryheid road. It is alleged that while they were near Tayside, they were forced to stop by three armed suspects who were in their VW Polo. Zwane said later both vehicles stopped in the bushes at Utrecht area and they were joined by a Quantum vehicle with more suspects.
