The Manchester United board has approved an £80 million bid for Erik ten Hag to sign Harry Kane from Tottenham Hotspur.
It is widely reported that the Red Devils are in the market for a top striker, with current centre-forward Wout Weghorst's six-month loan move from Burnley set to expire at the end of the season and there being no indication that his time at the club will continue beyond that.As a result, United have been linked with the likes of Napoli talisman Victor Osimhen, Ivan Toney of Brentford and Tottenham Hotspur's record goalscorer Harry Kane.
It is said the 13-time Premier League winners are eager to complete the deal as quickly as possible, and will initiate talks with the London outfit before the end of the season.
