McFarlane Toys is releasing a new action figure of Tempest, formerly known as Aqualad, in their DC Multiverse line. This figure captures the powerful mage in all his detail, with a unique design featuring his iconic blue suit, tattoos, and water elements.

Tempest , formerly known as Aqualad , first emerged in DC Comics Adventure Comics #269 (1960), brought to life by creators Robert Bernstein and Ramona Fradon. Initially introduced as Aquaman 's sidekick, Garth, an Atlantean orphan, found a home and mentorship under Aquaman 's wing. Under his guidance, Garth was rigorously trained, eventually outgrowing his Aqualad persona and evolving into the powerful Tempest .

This transformation took place in DC Comics Tempest #1 (1996), penned by writer Phil Jimenez, who imbued him with mystical abilities that further distinguished him. Now, Tempest is entering the DC Multiverse with a stunning action figure from McFarlane Toys. Adding a unique touch to your Aquaman collection, this figure showcases Garth in his iconic blue suit, adorned with distinctive tattoos and complemented by water element attachments. He further expanded his circle when he co-founded the Teen Titans alongside Robin, Wonder Girl, Kid Flash, and Speedy. While Aqualad embarked on his own path when the Teen Titans transitioned into the New Teen Titans, he eventually returned in a later iteration known as Titans. This comeback coincided with his transformation into Tempest, the formidable mage, solidifying his place as a powerful force in any setting. This Tempest figure, as seen in DC comics, is an incredibly detailed, 7-inch scale representation from the DC Multiverse. It's designed with Ultra Articulation, boasting up to 22 moving parts, allowing for an impressive range of posing and playability.
