(WSFA) - The warmer than normal temperatures continued today, but things will start to trend cooler soon! Once we head into Thursday, our overall weather pattern will shift back to feeling a bit more like December, which is perfect timing ahead of our Christmas holiday next week.
A few scattered showers will be possible as a cold front slides across the region and we will keep a low-end rain chances into the night with lows in the 40s and 50s. In fact, highs on Thursday will be in the 60s, while Friday we will be close to the 50s. As for overnight lows to end the week, they are back into the 30s, with near freezing temperatures by Saturday morning. The weekend outlook is looking dry, for those last minute Christmas shoppers. Highs will be in the 50s with overnight lows in the lower 30s; the chill this weekend is very fitting, as we officially welcome in the season of Winter on Saturday at 3:20 am.Long range forecast data as we approach Christmas Eve and Day next week, indicate a warming trend ahead of rain chances that look to arrive mid-to-late week next week.
