“I feel like this has been the hottest ,” she said of this week’s heat wave. “I felt like we moved to the desert. It was just like, what is going on?” Around 3:45 p.m., Camp Pendleton officials issued a smoke advisory via X, formerly known as Twitter, saying “Smoke may be visible, but there is currently no threat to personnel or structures.”
