The vibrant Temecula Valley in California might be known for its harvest season festivities, but the celebration of wine doesn't stop there. Winter brings a unique charm to the vineyards, with events constantly happening throughout the year. This February, the valley will be abuzz with the much-anticipated Barrel Tasting Weekend, a special event hosted by the Temecula Valley Winegrowers Association.
Taking place from February 1st to 2nd, this unique weekend offers wine enthusiasts the rare opportunity to sample both unfinished barrel and tank wines, alongside finished and newly released bottles. This one-time-a-year event promises a truly immersive experience into the winemaking process. A single-day ticket grants access to this exclusive tasting for $79, while designated driver tickets are available for $49. Food and snacks will also be available, adding to the festive atmosphere. Beyond the Barrel Tasting Weekend, Temecula Valley is brimming with Valentine's Day celebrations throughout February. The weekend before Valentine's Day, Miramonte Winery will host a special 'Valentine Paint & Sip' event. Europa Village Wineries & Resort will also be offering pre-Valentine's Day suppers, including a 'Galentine's Dinner' on February 13th.
