The announcement comes on the heels of a viral message on social media that a number of the hospital’s doctors have contracted the coronavirus, resulting in the disruption of operations."However, safety and precaution measures have been taken and we continue to monitor the situation closely," Dr Noor Hisham said in a statement on his Facebook page today.
He said the hospital is being aided in dealing with the new cases by the Hilir Perak District Health office.
