Owners of Cottonwood Creek Farm in Wasilla see an increase in herd share demands as more people want to drink raw goat's milk.

ANCHORAGE, Alaska - Fresh and local are two words many people like to see when it comes to the food they eat. But for some, it’s also important in the milk they drink. The Crosby’s run a squeaky-clean operation and say they’ve never had a health problem in the 20 years they’ve been offering herd shares. They prefer unpasteurized milk because it contains vitamins and nutrients that can be killed during the heat pasteurization process. Suzy Crosby said this year, in particular, their milk is more popular than ever.
