As far as roads go, Lancashire is blessed by multiple motorways which help us get to where we need to quickly - or at least some of the times.
Especially when compared to its Cumbrian neighbour, Lancashire can boast a good network of motorways. The M6 is probably the queen of them all, crossing large parts of the county and having the honour of being the first stretch of motorway ever opened in the UK, with it all starting in Preston.
