Hairdressing students proved they are a cut above as they turned on the style for their annual competition.

Trainees on level two and three courses at Telford College took part in a range of challenges under a series of themes, including avant garde, catwalk, masquerade ball and prom.

“This year we have two students who have entered the World Skills Competition for hairdressing after practicing for the competition and gaining confidence in hair up. All of our students should be very proud of themselves this week.” The level three students have been visited twice by from successful local stylist Hayley Hamilton to give them inspiration, hints and tips for their avant garde creations.
