Three youths have been sentenced over affray and grievous bodily harm in Watford that left a man with a broken hip.

One 16-year-old from Bushey who pleaded guilty to causing GBH and affray was referred to the youth offender panel for two 12-month periods concurrently. He previously admitted pushing a trolley into the victim, a man in his 50s, causing him to fall and suffer a hip fracture.Another Watford teenager, 16, who admitted one count of affray, was handed a four-month curfew with an electronic tag as part of a youth rehabilitation requirement.He must complete 45 hours of a reparation activity over 15 days and paid £85 in prosecution costs and a £26 victim surcharge.
