Three young men, aged 17 and 18, were arrested in Kyle following a traffic stop that led to the recovery of stolen firearms, vehicles, and fraudulent property. The suspects admitted to involvement in thefts in Spicewood, and face multiple charges including engaging in organized criminal activity, possession of controlled substances, and credit card abuse. The Kyle Police Department is assisting in the ongoing investigation.
Two 17-year-olds and one 18-year-old were arrested in Kyle Wednesday after a routine traffic stop resulted in the recovery of stolen firearms, stolen vehicles , and fraud-related property. During the stop, the suspects admitted to being involved in multiple criminal offenses, including the theft of firearms and the theft of multiple vehicles in the Spicewood area on Tuesday night.
Officers later recovered what they described as a significant amount of stolen and fraudulent property. This included 14 stolen credit cards, three stolen checks, and two driver's licenses .The suspects were identified as 18-year-old Nathaniel Montalvo of Kyle, 17-year-old Eduardo De Jesus Ramirez of Austin, and 17-year-old Jorge Sanchez of Manor. Montalvo was charged with Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity, two counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance, Fraudulent Use or Possession of Identifying Information, Credit Card or Debit Card Abuse, Unlawful Carrying of a Weapon, and Evading Arrest or Detention. Sanchez was charged with Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity, Manufacture or Delivery of a Controlled Substance, Fraudulent Use or Possession of Identifying Information, Credit Card or Debit Card Abuse, Unlawful Carrying of a Weapon, and Prohibited Weapon.
