Two 13-year-olds have been arrested in less than a week, in connection to different shootings in San Antonio. Despite these arrests, violent teen crimes are on the decline.
Teenager arrested in broad daylight carjacking that led to man's death in San Antonio “I know if you if you speak to law enforcement officers who are in the community on the ground working, they're going to tell you that they're feeling a lot more, that there's a lot more violent crime activity by both adults and young people,” said Jill Mata, Chief Juvenile Probation Officer for Bexar County.
“From this time last year, it's down 8%, so if you do a whole full year, look back, you don't see a trend up,” said Mata.
