A 2022 Range Rover was reported stolen out of a downtown parking garage in Summit around 4:45 p.m. Monday, but local officers tracked the vehicle’s movements using the SUV’s GPS system. Officers located the vehicle at about 7 p.m. parked on Pine Street in Elizabeth with five people inside. The suspects fled the vehicle as officers approached and four teenagers, one 19-year-old and three 16-year-olds, were apprehended after a brief foot chase. One suspect escaped, according to police. It was unclear whether the fifth suspect has been arrested.
