A 13-year-old boy was stabbed multiple times while walking to school in Everett, Washington, prompting a search for a suspect. Police released a photo of a person of interest seen near the scene. Both North Middle School and Everett High School were placed on lockdown following the attack.
A photo released by the Everett Police Department show a “person of interest” in connection to the stabbing of a teenage boy near the intersection of 26th Street and Broadway in Everett on Thursday, January 16, 2025. Police said the man was described as being around 5-feel 10-inches tall and was last seen wearing a gray sweatshirt and yellow beanie. "A 13-year-old boy was walking to school and he was stabbed multiple times,” Everett Police Department officer Natalie Given told KOMO News.
The 13-year-old was stable when he was taken to Providence Regional Medical Center, according to the Everett Fire Department.
