The 19-year-old has conquered her fears
Final year dance and musical theatre students from Liverpool Theatre School will perform in the West End later today in front of an audience of talent scouts, agents and industry influencers. The show, which is being held at London’s Leicester Square Theatre, will be a showcase of their talents, and will include songs, monologues and group dances.
She said: “When you start in first year, you don't know what's to come. In one our plays, we did solo monologues from Alan Bennett. She said: “To be honest, I’ve not had to deal with many setbacks. But the physical demand for dancers is very high. I had a bad hamstring injury at the start of second year.”
“To me, it feels emotional. I've spent all my life in Liverpool Theatre School. Leaving will be bittersweet. I’m very excited to enter the professional world but very grateful for all the teachers who have helped me.”
