A teenager has been arrested in connection with the death of a man following a 'stabbing' in Fraserburgh on Sunday.
A 24-year-old man was found with serious injuries and he was tragically pronounced dead at the scene a short time later. A teenager was also taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary for treatment. It is understood the incident was a stabbing.Images shared on social media showed a large-scale police and ambulance presence on the street as a cordon was erected, watched by shocked locals.
Area commander Chief Inspector Sam Buchan said: “Our thoughts are with the deceased man’s loved ones at this difficult time. We have a dedicated team of officers working on this investigation to establish the full circumstances.
