Upon arrival, officers from Lancashire Police discovered a 17-year-old female victim who had sustained a stab wound to the back of her neck. The swift response by armed officers led to the immediate arrest of a 30-year-old male suspect at the scene. He is currently being held in police custody on suspicion of attempted murder. The teenage victim was rushed to a hospital where she is receiving treatment for her injuries.
