Teen loves volunteering at animal shelter but would love to find her Forever Family
SAN ANTONIO — Touch our hearts! That is fourteen year old teen Miss Maddie! The Roy Maas Youth Alternatives teenager living at the Boerne campus is ever hopeful to find her 'Forever Adoptive Home'. She was shy at the start of our interview, but what foster kid wouldn't be? She quickly, though, warmed to the process and was as sweet as little girl we've ever met. 'I like animals,' she told us.
Maddie told us that her sister has parents and as happy as she is for her sister she also wishes that could have the same thing. I'd say that's more than fair. 'I think having a connection with parents again would be great for me to branch out and explore myself more having that structured home,' she said. 'I feel like it would make happier,' she continued. 'I feel like sometimes there is no one there for me, but I do have my family, and I do love my siblings a lot.
Miss Maddie dreams of being able to decorate her own room, cook for her family and even go to a public school. 'It is all like pretty crazy to me,' she said.KENS would like to send you push notifications about the latest news and weather.
