Arselaan Nawaz was captured on CCTV 'lurking' around the area as his victim parked further from the gym entrance.
A teenage predator who stalked a woman outside a gym before abducting her at knifepoint has been sentenced to jail. Arselaan Nawaz, 17, had ridden his bike to the car park in Oldham, Greater Manchester, at around 6.30am and waited for the woman to arrive in her vehicle.
Summing up the case, the judge said Nawaz left the woman with a bruise on her neck before ordering her to undress and putting on a condom. "You clearly brought the condom and the knife with you in preparation for this attack," the judge stated. 'I am now a statistic no woman wants to be a part of' In a powerful victim impact statement presented in court, the woman expressed: "The thought of you being released back into the public scares me.
"Every day I ask why I couldn't have just stayed in bed. I wish I never went to the gym, I wish it never happened to me. I feel such shame and guilt. I ask 'What did I do to deserve this? Why didn't I just run?'
