SAN ANTONIO - A teenager is lucky to be alive after not getting out of the way of an oncoming train early Wednesday morning. The incident happened just after 12:30 a.m. along some train tracks at Chestnut and Burnet Streets, just east of Downtown. Police say the 18-year-old boy was on the tracks and possibly intoxicated when he was hit by a Union Pacific train after not getting out of the way fast enough.
Amazingly, the teen only suffered a broken arm and a cut to his head. He's at the hospital in stable condition.
