Edwards, 37, confirmed the news on Instagram, sharing a video of himself proposing. Fans noticed cameras filming the moment, suggesting the romantic proposal might be featured on the upcoming season of Teen Mom : The Next Chapter. Edwards included his eldest son, Bentley, who he shares with ex-Maci Bookout, in the special moment.
He also has two other children, Jagger and Stella, with his ex-wife, Mackenzie Standifer. After sharing the news online, Edwards received well wishes from fans. Bookout also appeared to support the engagement by liking the post. Since Edwards started dating Conner around September 2023, Bookout has been supportive of the relationship. She previously called Conner a friend and praised her positive influence on Edwards. Their relationship developed naturally, according to Bookout, who said Conner is supportive of both Edwards and Bentley. In October 2024, Edwards and Conner announced they were expecting a baby girl.
