A teen girl was killed in a shooting near a housing complex along the 600 block of Franklin Place in North Philadelphia on Sunday, Oct. 6, 2024A teen girl was killed while another teen girl and a young man were injured in an overnight shooting in North Philadelphia .
On Sunday at 12:39 a.m., police responded to the 600 block of Franklin Place for a report of a person with a gun. When they arrived, they found a 17-year-old girl who had been shot in the chest, a 21-year-old man who had been shot in the thigh and a 16-year-old girl who had been shot in the face, neck and arm.The 17-year-old girl was pronounced dead at the scene. Police have not yet revealed her identity.No arrests have been made in the shooting.
