Prosecutors in Michigan charged a teenage girl with felony assault over the weekend after the student allegedly knocked down a teacher by throwing a chair at the back of the adult’s head.
The Genesee County Prosecutor’s Office brought the two felony charges against the 15-year-old girl, who is accused of tossing the metal chair at Flint’s Southwestern Classical Academy on Sept. 28.
That’s when one of the girls grabs a chair and flings it, striking the teacher in the back of the head. Flint Michigan teacher gets knocked out by student after chair was thrown to the head. Incident happened Thursday afternoon in classroom at southwestern classical academy.Flint Police Chief Terence Green said a school resource officer was called in shortly after and saw the teacher lying on the ground with injuries to her head.
