A 17-year-old boy has been charged with murder over the fatal stabbing of another teen in New South Wales on Sunday night.
Emergency crews were called to Pacific Street at Corindi Beach just before 6pm, where they found the teen boy lying on the road with a single stab wound to the thigh.
Acting Superintendent Matthew French told reporters on Monday the teen had suffered a “significant amount of blood loss”.He was rushed to Coffs Harbour Health Campus, but died a short time later. A 17-year-old boy allegedly handed himself in to Coffs Harbour Police Station at about 3:30am on Monday. The teen has been charged with murder, assault causing death and with the possession of a prohibited drug.
