A teen has been arrested after an alleged stabbing at a park near an Edinburgh high school. Cops raced to Viewforth shortly before lunchtime on August 23 after reports of a serious assault.
A 20-year-old was rushed to hospital and an 18-year-old male has been arrested in connection with the incident. The park near Boroughmuir High School remains closed while police probe the crime scene and a path at the canal nearby is also closed.A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 11.50am on Friday, 23 August, 2024, officers received a report of a serious assault in the Viewforth area of Edinburgh. A 20-year-old man has been taken to hospital for treatment.
