A teenager is behind bars after police say that he fatally shot an 18-year-old in the neck at a 7-Eleven in east Oak Cliff last week.
A friend who was with Mills told detectives that he and Mills were walking to the 7-Eleven when they heard someone yell. The two looked up and saw Dyer holding a rifle and a juvenile holding a handgun, police allege in an arrest-warrant affidavit. Mills’ friend said he has known Dyer and the juvenile for about a year, and identified a photo of Dyer as the person who shot at them, the affidavit says.
