Police have filed charges against a teenager after shots were fired in Lancaster Monday night, and officers are still working to identify two others involved.

City police were called just before 8:10 p.m. to the 300 block of South Queen Street, where multiple gunshots were reported. Investigators reviewed surveillance video that showed gunfire was exchanged between three people, including two males on foot and one male on an electric scooter. Officers said they encountered two of the males around 8:40 p.m. in the area of Lincoln and North Water streets.
Officers were able to capture one of the suspects, identified as Arkie Gillis, 18, after a short chase. The 18-year-old is now charged with two counts of possession of a firearm prohibited, along with two counts of firearms not to be carried without a license. Investigators are still trying to identify the other two males involved in the shots fired incident.
