During a live stream of the dive, scientists reportedly described the organism as "bumpy blue things" and "blue bio mats".It turns out the "blue goo", seen here in another light, was a rare sea urchin aggregation.on the seafloor is believed to be a mating aggregation.Sea urchins usually reproduce by spawning meaning sperm and eggs are released into the water to fertilise.
