Egyptian giants Al Ahly have reportedly made an approach to Mamelodi Sundowns for Teboho Mokoena's services.
The 27-year-old was linked to a move overseas following his good showing at the Africa Cup of Nations earlier this year. Al Ahly are one of the teams interested in the Bafana Bafana star. According to“We have been in discussions and negotiations since November, and sadly are no closer to finalizing a new deal, which has led to a lot of frustration and disappointment for both myself and my client in this regard,” Binkin opened up to SABC Sport.
The asking price for the 27-year-old might be high but if there’s a team that has the money to pull the deal off, it’s Al Ahly. The Red Devils signed Percy Tau from Brighton and Hove Albion three years ago. Teboho Mokoena to Al Ahly might happen given the Egyptian’s desire to be competitive in next year’s FIFA Club World Cup.
