Sitting quietly on a blue plastic chair in a narrow passage of an undisclosed Gauteng medical facility, a 28-year-old man quietly wiped tears from his eyes.
Around him was a hive of activity — nurses, wearing infectious disease personal protective equipment, hurrying past him; pharmacists frantically checking files of the eight patients in front of them. “It’s happening. It’s finally happening. Today I’m going to make a difference.
