, which suggested schools should consider bringing in volunteers and agency staff or reviving remote learning models to minimise disruption during industrial action.
In a joint statement, the NAHT said it was “working closely” with the National Education Union , despite failing to secure enough votes to launch industrial action itself. In an email sent out to parents earlier this week, one primary school headteacher was “grateful to my staff who have put your children first” by choosing not to strike, meaning “action planned by the NEU will not affect us”.
