IPOH: Thousands of Sijil Peperiksaan Malaysia (SPM) candidates and teachers were disappointed over the usage of Tiktok videos during the English paper three comprehension test.

According to Majoriti, a teacher had even questioned why the Exams Syndicate opted for the Tiktok video instead of letting the teacher conduct the test.

"The students were stressed out because the audio was not clear and caused difficulties for them when answering the test's questions. Perhaps the Education Ministry wanted to bring a new trend but this has led to trouble," said the teacher.A check on Tiktok revealed that some students claimed that the video’s audio was too fast and used slang that they did not understand.
