Juan Soto slide into home to beat the throw — not that fans watching the TBS broadcast had much of a chance to catch it.
The national broadcast oddly followed Giancarlo Stanton during his fourth-inning double, a drive to left-center field that saw Soto score all the way from first to open the scoring of“ TBS is an embarrassment,” Mad Dog Radio’s Steve Torre wrote on X. “Atrocious camera work on Stanton double. Had no clue if Soto scored or how close the play was going to be. Too busy getting a George Brett history lesson.
