Taylor Swift is once again showing just how much of an ally she is to the LGBTQ+ community as she shared a powerful Pride Month message during her concert.Chicago show of her Eras Tour, Swift took a moment to express her appreciation to all of her fans who attended her show, calling it a"beautiful experience" for her.
"One of the things that makes me feel so prideful is getting to be with you, and watching you interact with each other, and being so loving, and so thoughtful, and so caring," she added. "You guys are screaming those lyrics in such solidarity, in such support of one another, in such encouraging, beautiful, acceptance and peace and safety, and I wish that every place was safe and beautiful for people in the LGBTQ community," Swift said.She then expressed her criticism about the"many harmful pieces of legislation that have put people in the LGBTQ+ and queer community at risk" and urged her fans to hold lawmakers accountable in the voting booth.
