Capital One cardholders are hoping the issues are resolved for their presale, which was rescheduled from this afternoon until Wednesday at 2 p.m. local venue time. The general public won’t get their first chance at tickets until Friday at 10 a.m.
“If anyone needs me today, I’ll be here dealing with the disaster that is Ticketmaster #TSErasTour @taylornation13,” one fan tweeted. “Taylor Swift really wrote ‘The Great War’ about getting tickets for her tour,” added another., “Daily reminder that Ticketmaster is a monopoly, its merger with LiveNation should never have been approved, and they need to be reigned in. Break them up.”
“Part of the draw for a Swift show is its spectacular nature,” said Syracuse University music history professor Theo Cateforis in a release. “It will be a big, flashy production. But she also excels at moments of intimacy, which is probably what the fans crave even more.”
