“The Eras Tour has been the most meaningful, electric experience of my life so far and I’m overjoyed to tell you that it’ll be coming to the big screen soon,” she wrote. The pop queen’s new film documents her massively popular tour, which was forecast to hit a record-breaking $1 billion in ticket sales in July — one of the highest-grossing tours ever.
The movie will play at some of the country’s largest theater chains including AMC, Regal and Cinemark on weekends until Nov. 5. AMC, according toSwift fans were quick to predict the movie would out-sell, the “The Exorcist” reboot — which is set 50 years after the original 1973 flick.“The Exorcist: Believer” stars Leslie Odom Jr. of “Hamilton” along with Ellen Burstyn, who appeared in the 1973 film, which centers on the demonic possession of a young girl.
