The city of Arlington, Texas is taking the Swiftie praise to another level by offering the singer the key to its city —Taylor is kicking off the first of three sold-out shows this weekend as part of her acclaimed Eras Tour at AT&T Stadium in Arlington — located in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

The city announced that it would temporarily rename Randol Mill Road to Taylor Swift Way for the weekend, along with gifting Ms. Swift with a key to their city. In a press release, the office of Arlingtonthat it would be “participating in a friendly competition with other U.S. cities” that have welcomed Taylor with other grand gestures.

“The four-story steel sculptures in front of City Hall in Downtown will be lit ‘Red’ from March 31-April 2, which fellow Swiftie Mayor Jim Ross has declared as Taylor Swift Weekend in Arlington, Texas,” the city’s press release read. “Ross will also present Swift with a Key to the City she can cherish ‘Forever & Always.
