Taylor Swift attends the 2019 MTV Video Music Awards at Prudential Center on Aug. 26, 2019 in Newark, N.J.

You know those viral YouTube videos of teenagers acting loopy from anesthetics after wisdom tooth surgery? Well,on Thursday , and the talk show host took a hilarious opportunity to embarrass her. The "Lover" songstress recently underwent lasik eye surgery, and Fallon giggled as he told Swift that her mom "may or may not have videotaped you after surgery, and she gave us the video."?" a mortified Swift responded. Her embarrassment wasn't enough to stop the host from rolling the tape, which showed a post-op Swift decked in protective eye gear as she tries to pull apart a banana.

As her mom tries to convince her not to cry, Swift tells her mom that she wanted the other banana on the bunch. "I wanted this one but what do we do with this now?" she worries, and her mom attempts to comfort her by saying she'll eat the banana that was accidentally picked. The scene then cuts to a calmer Swift in bed, eating her banana. "Don't fall asleep while eating the banana," her mom warns. The romantic songwriter, even while drugged up, manages to get a poetic thought out by replying, "I'm not asleep, my mind is alive." at 11:35pm ET/PT on NBC. Taylor also joins Jimmy for a fun game of “Name That Song Challenge.” Watch the hysterical banana video below.
