Taylor Swift is releasing a house remix of 'Opalite' — and the world can thank Travis Kelce for that.
So what role did her fiancé actually play in making one of the newly announced remixes of the song come to life? Well, Kelce is a big fan of English EDM producer Chris Lake and inspired him to give the glittery pop song an electronic treatment.
As Lake revealed in an Instagram, the producer slid into the NFL player’s DMs and told him, “Heard you and Taylor were listening to my tracks… I’m going to take a crack at remixing this track for her.” Kelce was as supportive as you’d expect ato be, calling Lake a “legend” and saying, “Can’t wait to see how you put it together man.” Once Lake cooked up his yet-to-be released remix, Kelce was more hyped than ever in the DMs. “It’s so good dawg, I’m gonna be rippin this shit every car ride!!” he said. He also made sure to let the producer know Swift approved of the “Opalite” remix. “She loves it too!!
