Taylor Swift has announced that her record-breaking Eras Tour will officially end on December 8, 2024 in Vancouver, Canada.
To quote Taylor Swift herself, "Is this the end of all the endings?" That's right—the pop star has officially announced that her eras era is almost over.
Much to the devastation of Swifties everywhere, who undoubtedly hoped to exchange friendship bracelets and worship at the altar of Swift forever, the singer made the announcement that her record-breaking Eras Tour will end on December 8 in Vancouver, Canada while on stage at her 100th show in Liverpool last night.“You know, this is actually the 100th show of the tour,” Swift began in a moment captured in a fan. “That blows my mind.
She went on to explain that she was finally able to admit to both herself and her fans that the epic tour would, eventually, have to come to an end. “You know, a lot of you were like, ‘Well, how are you going to celebrate the 100th show?'" she said. "And for me, the celebration of the 100th show means this is the very first time I’ve ever acknowledged to myself and admitted that this tour is going to end in December. Like, that’s it.
In other words, she won't be adding any more dates to the tour and her final show will take place on December 8 at Vancouver's BC Place.“That feels so far away from now," she said, referencing her finale date in December, "but then again, it feels like we just played our first show on this tour because you have made this so fun for us that we wanted to do 100 shows, 150-something shows that we have on the whole tour.
She went on, "This tour has really become my entire life. It’s taken over everything. I think I once had hobbies, but I don’t know what they were anymore because all I do when I’m not onstage is sit at home and try to think of clever acoustic song mash-ups and think about what you might want to hear. So when I’m not on the stage, I’m dreaming of being back on the stage with you guys.”The Eras Tour began last year on March 17 in Glendale, Arizona.
