Swifties went into sleuth mode about this new development after Taylor looked dead at the camera during her Friday night concert in Nashville , andAs TikTok user @venusdaydreams pointed out, Taylor's seemingly-random moment actually has a direct connection to Matty, who appeared to mouth the exact same thing on stage during The 1975's May 3 concert in the Philippines.
The clips could certainly be interpreted as evidence that the rumors about Taylor and Matty coupling up are accurate. While neither of them have commented publicly on the rumors, a source recently toldthat they're not *not* feeling romantic. "It’s super-early days, but it feels right," the insider claimed. "They first dated, very briefly, almost 10 years ago but the timings just didn’t work out.
FWIW, Taylor's rendition of the silent secret message came during "Cardigan," which is well-established fiction and was not written about Matty—at least not originally/explicitly .
