Pendrith, a Canadian, nailed a birdie putt on No. 18 to win the CJ Cup Byron Nelson and earn the first PGA Tour victory of his career. Pendrith shot a final round 67 to finish 23 under par.

“I think I learned that I need to stay aggressive, play my own game, not worry about what others are doing and go out there and win it and not let it, I guess, be brought to you,” he said. “So that’s what I was trying to do today, stay aggressive.”Kohles took a one-shot lead over Pendrith on No. 8 but lost it the next hole. The two were tied on No. 17 before Kohles took a one-shot lead after making a 19-foot birdie putt.
Kohles, after coming up short on a chip shot to the green, missed a par putt that would have, at worst, forced a playoff. But after Kohles made his bogey, all that was left was for Pendrith to make his putt.bit of speed and I probably needed to hit it right center instead of playing it straight.
