“Race walking is something I grew up doing. My mom would sometimes ride her bike next to me as I trained and coached and trained with me,” Ewert told. “If you’re good or have talent in something and you have a chance to go pro or go to the Olympics in a certain event, why would you want to pass that up? I’ve really enjoyed it.”
