) - A Talladega family is hurting after their loved on was killed in the EF-2 tornado that hit the Talladega County community of Winterboro. That EF-2 tornado swept through Winterboro Saturday night leaving a mobile home destroyed.
Talladega County Coroner Shaddix Murphy says the home belonged to 83-year-old Harry Leon Fain. Fain was living on Bob White Road at the time of the storm. Neighbors in the community say they’re heartbroken and sad for the family. Many say they understand the power of mother nature,“Over across Hwy 21 on a road called Bob White Road. There was a individual in a single-wide mobile home that took a direct hit and unfortunately perished during that time,” said Talladega County Sheriff Jimmy Kilgore. “Man, it’s devastating and very unfortunate, but the reality is none of us are going to get out of this world alive; I mean we’re all going to go.
