Aliyev apologized to Putin during the phone call for the deaths of some Russian peacekeepers in the region Wednesday, Tass said, citing the Kremlin press service. The Russian Defense Ministry had reported the deaths, although it didn’t say how many or whether it happened before or after the cease-fire.
